Courthouse Wedding Information

Congratulations on your upcoming celebration! We are so happy to share in your Big Day.

Weddings are over and above our normal operation as a museum; therefore we require a reservation of time and place. You should expect other Museum patrons to be in the Courthouse at the time.

Weddings with parties of 14 or fewer (not including the Bride, Groom, Officiate and one
photographer) are $25 for the entire party.

Weddings with more than 15 are charged our regular group rate of $6 per adult, $2 for
youth 7 through 13, with children under 6 free.

Weddings most often take place, but can be hosted in any of the museum rooms in
accordance to your wedding theme. Event fees cover the museum for all of your guests for
the day. You are welcome to our list officiants that have worked with us at the Courthouse
but are not required to choose from them. We want you ceremony to be performed by the
person of your choosing. Our Staff can act as a witness for you, but are not licensed to
perform your ceremony. You will need to obtain a valid Marriage License prior to your event
as we are not an active Courthouse.

There are some rules.
No animals, except service animals, are allowed in the building
Nothing may be thrown in the building (rice, Birdseed or similar.)
No Food or Drink other than Water in the building
No Firearms

If you are interested in a reception location please inquire about the use of the Park

Ramada area.

And one more thing: Congratulations!
