Tombstone is a Real Community!

TombstoneAZ

Tombstone is a small town of approximately 1,600+ residents that was once called Goose Flats.  The town is surrounded by many different mountain ranges to include the Sierra and Dragoon Mountains.

In 1962, the Department of the Interior designated Tombstone a registered historical landmark and a restoration zone was established and a commission for the preservation of its landmarks.

Tourism is the mainstay of the economy.  The mild year-round climate and low humidity make Tombstone an attractive place for retirement.
